Yes, Yacht Ceramic Coatings are formulated to be safe for all surfaces including your gelcoat or paint. Ceramic Coatings will not damage your gelcoat or paint and will not void any manufacturer warranties
Do Ceramic coatings crack, peel or yellow?
No, Ceramic coatings will not Crack, Peel or Yellow. Our products have undergone real life testing in some of the world's harshest environments, and surpassed every one of them.
Can I apply a Ceramic Coating myself?
No, Ceramic Coating Must be applied by trained and certified professionals. This product requires a strong attention to detail and an understanding of how solvent based coatings work.

Will Ceramic Coating Prevent water spots?
No, Ceramic coating will not prevent water spotting but it WILL allow those pesky water spots to be easily removed without damaging the surface. Because Ceramic coating creates a protective layer over the surface it does not allow the minerals to corrode or etch the surface that Ceramic coating is protecting prolonging the life of your metals, paints, gelcoat, plastics, vinyls etc.
Will Ceramic coating protect the metals on my boat?
Yes, Ceramic Coating does an excellent job protecting your metals above and below the water from corrosion, water spot etching, oxidation and discoloration. Ceramic coating's self cleaning effect also makes maintenance a breeze. No need to continuously polish your brightwork to keep its original luster.
Can Ceramic coatings be easily removed?
No, Ceramic coating cannot be washed away like a wax or sealant giving it long lasting results. You must polish to remove Ceramic Coatings
Do I still have to use a bunch of chemicals to clean and maintain my boat?
NO!!! That’s the great thing about Ceramic coatings. Water and a mild PH Neutral boat soap will do the trick. Goodbye bleaches, glass cleaners, vinyl cleaners, metal polishes etc.
Do I need to wax my boat after Ceramic coating has been applied?
No!!! Ceramic coatings are the permanent replacement to wax and sealants.
Can I use a deck brush to clean my boat?
Yes, but use the softest deck brush available. Due to its hydrophobic properties ceramic coatings make the surface very easy to clean so there will be no need for hard scrubbing.
